The Jordanian company “EuroTech”, participated in the event of the Medical Technology Day conference, organized by the students of the Faculty of Medicine, IFMSA, in collaboration with the students of the Faculty of Technology, IEEE-CS, at the University of Jordan, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Nathir Obeidat, the President of the University of Jordan. The conference took place on February 29, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Saleh Al-Sharaeh, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Yasser Al-Rayan, with the participation of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Economy.
Prof. Mike Jabarin, an expert in technology and virtual reality, presented strategic insights into the latest developments in the field of virtual reality and medicine. Virtual reality techniques are considered one of the most important innovations in the field of medicine, allowing safe and effective experiments and training for doctors and medical students. Additionally, virtual reality enables doctors to plan and perform complex surgeries with high precision and lower risks, improving surgical outcomes.
The conference witnessed wide participation and significant interaction from the attendees, who raised numerous questions. In conclusion, Prof. Mike answered all inquiries, adding value to the attendees’ experience.
