Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things: Journey to the Future of Industrial Automation with Professor Mike Jabarin.
Professor Mike Jabarin participated in a workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things: Leading Industrial Automation into the Future.” The workshop was part of a series of workshops under the program “Designing and Manufacturing Products Innovatively,” organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation. It took place on November 28, 2023, from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Professor Mike Jabarin delivered the keynote address at the workshop, aiming to explore the latest technologies and industrial applications in the fields of Industrial Artificial Intelligence and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in the face of rapid technological advancements. The workshop included presenting key concepts of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, highlighting their integration in industrial automation applications.
The workshop also featured a review of practical applications in various fields to harness artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, including manufacturing, automation, maintenance, quality control, supply chain management, logistics services, energy management, resource efficiency improvement, and reduction of industrial waste.
Professor Jabarin provided information about the Jordanian company “EuroTech,” specializing in technological training, which plays a prominent role in enhancing understanding and skills in modern technology fields. Effective collaboration has been established with numerous educational institutions in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States, in addition to partnering with leading global technology companies.
The workshop stood out for shedding light on the latest technologies and innovations in this field, with active and fruitful participation from the attendees.
